I am a mother. My life is devoted to raising my kids. They are awesome kids, but raising kids is not for the weak of the knee. No matter how good they are, they still have to learn some things the hard way. That is a hard job for a parent, to help them navigate that.

What a great photo.
I love the pier in the backgroung with the fire in the fore.
I know you live near the beach & it's good that you can take advantage of that!
Last summer we stopped in LA on our way back from Fiji, stayed in Anaheim & took the kids to Disneyland - of course!
